NWR Popa Falls Resort

We used the camping facilities here, which were sand and gravel, with electric hook up, bbq and light. Very nearby were the shower and toilet facilities which also offer washing up and clothes washing. Elsewhere on the site there is a small swimming pool, bar and restaurant. The site also offers morning and/or evening river trips and game drives. An excellent site which I would happily use again, so definitely recommended👍

The resort is clean and well kept. There are rooms with falls views and closer to the river. The restaurant has a nice river view too. There are also hippos around, dangerous but if you don't bother them they won't bother you. The prices of both day visit and accommodations are reasonable. This place is a must visit. Boat cruise is also available at fee, the cruise takes you to the beautiful falls, a small Island by the falls and hippo island.

Our overall experience was underwhelming, with the boat ride being the only highlight of our trip. Unfortunately, the staff were unfriendly and rude, and the cleaning service left much to be desired. The food was mediocre at best, with many items unavailable—no butter, bacon, or sausage, and even the bread ran out at one point. The cups were insufficient, and the juice served was overly diluted. We booked the Luxury Chalet at a premium price to give my parents a memorable experience, but the service fell disappointingly short. The TV in the room only played one channel—Chanel O—which was unsuitable for elderly guests. Additionally, the air conditioner in the room was not working upon arrival. Despite multiple follow-ups, the maintenance issue was only resolved on the final night of our stay. This level of service is unacceptable, especially for a property marketed as a luxury destination. Staff attitudes and lack of professionalism were particularly disheartening and may deter future guests. We left feeling deeply disappointed and let down.
