NYX Hotel Erfurt by Leonardo Hotels

The view of the city center is wonderful. Trams and restaurants are easily accessible nearby. The room is well-equipped and well-used. 👍

I chose this hotel partly because of the advertised fitness area – unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The so-called fitness room consisted of only three pieces of equipment: a treadmill, a bike, and a stepper. To me, this isn't a fully-fledged fitness area, as you'd expect from a hotel. Furthermore, the room was extremely warm – around 28 degrees – as the area is right next to the sauna. An effective workout was almost impossible in these temperatures. The fitness area shouldn't be mentioned to avoid creating false expectations. Unfortunately, the receptionist didn't feel responsible for the problem either. The location is very good, and the rooms are very well-insulated.

The standard room is fine for one night, for one person. It's very small and cramped. There's no wardrobe or decent storage space for a suitcase, and overall space and storage are limited. The same is true in the bathroom. The very friendly staff at reception deserves special mention. They were consistently friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is very good. A stone's throw from the old town.
