It was immediately clear that the rooms are regularly used by guests with pets. The smell of wet dogs is intense to say the least. Unfortunately, my wife has a severe allergy, which makes it impossible for us to stay in such an environment. We spoke to the front desk staff, who were very understanding of the situation. They informed us that we could cancel the reservation and request a full refund.

Looked absolutely stunning in the pictures, but the truth were something totally different. 1. I booked a room with a lots of space, queen size bed and a terrace in the castle. Up on arrival I instead I got an wardrobe size room without a terrace in a outhouse. 2. The staff was very friendly but seemed to have no clue of what they were doing.(Most probably overworked). 3. A lot of apartment buildings right next to the hotel/castle which didn't exactly give the secluded castle countryside feeling one was expecting. All these things combined made me leave the hotel and book another one instead which was hard late in the evening. The Manager offered me a better room (in the outhouse), which was a bit bigger and had a bathtub, and when I decided to change hotel I was offered full compensation. Howerer that doesn't make up for the lost time and gasoline costs to get to the castle. I was then also offered a free night stay some other time AT the room that I have originally booked... No offer of suit options etc. Before you go to this place, please double check everything in your booking so that they don't sell you the pig in the sack. A very disappointing experience overall.

Easter 🐣 Egg (äggjakt) Not recommended. 🫣 Crafting: Poorly organized, not enough resources for anything. There were only just a few pieces of paper on the table without enough color pens. No staff and no instructions. Äggjakt: The chocolate eggs were placed directly on the ground/dirt without even a piece of paper under.🤮 Some kids took all the eggs while some had nothing, no refill and no one cares. Over 300 to 400 kids for very little amount of chocolate eggs chocolate with dirt or maybe dog poop... 🫣 Gross!!!!!! Cautions ⚠️: A lot of cars driving around and the area is not suitable for äggjakt. Conclusion: Not recommended! 259kr for an Easter basket with 5 small chocolate eggs with dirt! (2 stars for the basket)
