Hotel O by Tamara in Coimbatore is a true gem for both business and leisure travelers. From the moment you step into the property, you're welcomed by a warm, professional team that sets the tone for a comfortable stay. The hotel’s modern design and thoughtful interiors reflect Tamara’s signature style—elegant, minimal, and calming. The rooms are impeccably clean, spacious, and well-appointed with all the modern amenities you’d expect from a premium hotel. The bed is exceptionally comfortable, and the blackout curtains ensure a restful sleep. The bathrooms are sleek, with excellent water pressure and toiletries provided. One of the standout features is the in-house restaurant. The breakfast buffet offers a delightful spread of South Indian and continental choices, all freshly prepared and served with care. Room service is prompt, and special dietary requests are handled with attention. The hotel’s location is another advantage—it is centrally situated, making access to business hubs, shopping areas, and the airport very convenient. Parking is ample and secure. Special mention must be made of the staff. Every team member—from the front desk to housekeeping and restaurant service—is courteous, efficient, and genuinely eager to assist. In summary, O by Tamara delivers a high-quality experience marked by cleanliness, comfort, and service excellence. It’s an ideal choice for those seeking a premium stay in Coimbatore. I would definitely return and highly recommend it to others visiting the city.
Great hotel for a quick stopover. The staff at the entrance were all super friendly and checked us in pretty quickly. Rooms were super clean, modern and chic. Dinner at the restaurant was very nice - everything was cooked well. Surprisingly, the seating hosts/servers were too serious and couldn't even afford a smile - hugely important for a good overall experience. Breakfast in the morning was a big mess and I think the design of the restaurant is faulty here. A narrow entrance into the restaurant and all the buffet items were placed right there, causing complete chaos. Some items were kept at an entirely different place, far away. Guests with their full plates kept bumping into each other. Also the breakfast was just mediocre (imagine eating hard idlis in Tamil Nadu!). F&B needs work.
We had our conference in the board room and it's well maintained. If they provide a short HDMI cable instead of long one, it would have been better. Food is excellent in the hotel, I always enjoy the food.
