Loved it and was surprised with the amount of space. Bed was comfy, balcony was large, bathroom was a good size with bathtub. Love that there’s toiletries on the wall and no more small bottles that constantly go to waste and landfill. Coffee machine, but only normal milk so couldn’t try it. I think it’s branded Coffee Club. Great cafe downstairs though that use Bear Bones beans and friendly staff. Lots of cupboard space too

This Oaks hotel is in a great location close to the CBD, the riverwalk, riverside ferry terminal and Central station. It is also a quick ten to fifteen minute to Fortitude Valley entertainment district. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms have a full kitchen and a washer and dryer which is very convenient! The bathrooms are quite old with a tub shower and they definitely need a renovation; tub showers can be dangerous with slips and the water just goes everywhere. The carpet and floors were a bit dirty with dust and debris and could use a deep cleaning. Otherwise it was a very comfortable stay and would stay again. Oh and the room keys are too clunky: a physical metal key for the door, a fob for access to the building and facilities and elevators and then a large plastic branded tag. I don’t see why they haven’t updated to digital key cards as this setup is inconvenient. There is also the issue of renovations going on in some units and the building next door is under construction - this results in some noise as early as 7am I noticed; however it is unfortunate and not much they can do about that! Would stay again next time I am in Brisbane :)

Very grotty rooms. It looks very appealing from the entrance and in pictures, but the room we stayed in (206) was very dirty. Carpets were old and had hair and bits all over them. Showers mouldy. And the neighbour used the balcony as an ashtray. The quality or cleanliness did not reflect the $350/night price tag. Stay elsewhere.
