We came down to watch the rugby and originally had a room at a another hotel which turned out to be horrendous, not only did we manage to get a great room with less than 24 hours notice. The room was immaculate the staff super friendly and provided us with exceptional service. The one thing that stood out the most. Was they made our child's cot each day which to us is above and beyond
Very reasonably priced hotel in a prime location. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Would be 5 stars however when returning to the hotel in the early hours there were 3 inebriated individuals on the steps asking me if there was any rooms available. To clarify they were not threatening in any way, but this is something that hotel staff should have dealt with and they should have moved these individuals on. I did notify reception, however, they did not seem interested.
It's a great place to stay in if you're visiting Melbourne. We stayed in the hotel for a fortnight before moving in to our apartment. The rooms are spacious, neat and tidy, the staff is responsive and helpful and the price is reasonable. The location of the place is an advantage. The only thing we did not find comfortable is that there is no ramp at the entrance, so you have to carry your luggage up the flight of eight or so stairs.
