I stayed in an Executive suite. Staff here are very friendly and helpful. The room had some nice touches to make us feel welcome including some snacks, an eye mask, ear plugs and bottled water. Unfortunately, the bed was quite hard, and the pillows were terrible as I'm used to a high firm pillow. There was no air con unit in the bedroom, only the sitting area and the cool air didn't quite reach the bedroom making it quite stuffy. There is a retractable washing line over the bath tub so it was good to hang swim wear. Otherwise there's laundry facilities on one of the floors $6 for a load, and another $6 for the dryer. The on-site restaurant is good as well. Full buffet breakfast for $20 discounted rate (instead of the usual $28) if you book through reception. Location is great as well, across the road there's a red CAT bus stop and also a Coles and food court. Easy walk to Perth station, Elizabeth Quay, public transport, shops and cafes.
Stayed here with my partner for a week. Pros: lovely staff, excellent central location, rooms are large and very quiet even with all the weekend party noise below, huge bathroom and well appointed kitchenette. Cons: parking is limited, the room was very bright at night with a light right outside the window and no blockout blinds, the AC struggled to keep the room cool and was very noisy, the bed was VERY bouncy with indentations - uncomfortable so we didn't have a single really good sleep.
Stayed overnight, the room was clean except for a large mould patch next to the bed. The bed was extremely hard, absolutely no water pressure in the shower and it had 2 temperatures, cold or boiling hot, despite spending ages trying to adjust it. We were told we were upgraded to a city view room on the first floor and I wish they hadn't as there appeared to be no sound proofing and all we heard all night was people arguing and fighting in the street until around 5 am. Could not find away to turn the air conditioner from cold to heat.
