Oaks Queenstown Club Suites

The suite was very spacious and nice with a superb view of the lake and surrounding mountains. The balcony could do with some small privacy screens between suites, at least close to the wall. Had some rain and the water pooled on the balcony in front of the door, so a mat inside would be good and look at the drainage. Moved one of the couches when we had friends from another suite come by and found a sock behind it. (Can't expect cleaners to move the couch every time they clean!) Apart from that, it was kept very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a bit of a hike into the town centre if you don't have a car. Going to town by the lake walk is really pretty. Queenstown is pretty hilly, so whichever way you go to town, you will have to go uphill at some point on the way back. Courtesy bus to town but not to the airport (booking required). Would definitely recommend.

The resort has a beautiful location, facing the lake and the view is excellent. I thought that I was in Switzerland. The lake and the snow mountain make a perfect view ! Upper floors should have better view. Our unit has 3 suites, good setting with full kitchen . Only that the ventilation of the unit is not very good, especially in the smaller room . We have to turn on the fan for the whole day. Staff are friendly and helpful . They have shuttle bus (only 11 seats ) to Queenstown downtown, but only from 4pm to 9pm. You have to make reservation at the reception . This is a nice place for us to spend a week.

The driveway was a bit steep and slippery but the service was good, the room was a decent size and had a big comfortable bed, although the pillows weren't the most comfortable other then that we really enjoyed the stay. We had an amazing view from the room and they offered a complimentary shuttle bus in the afternoon/evening which was great if we didn't want to drive into town, was only about a 10 minute drive into the town centre.
