Oaks R Suites Geelong delivered exactly what I needed for a smooth, stress-free business trip. The room was clean, modern, and exceptionally quiet—perfect for rest and focus after long workdays. The bed was comfortable, the workspace well-lit, and the overall layout thoughtfully designed. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the staff were welcoming and professional. The location is excellent—close to the Geelong waterfront, great cafes, and all the essential amenities. The room had everything I needed, and I left feeling rested, well looked after, and impressed. Highly recommend Oaks R Suites for anyone travelling to Geelong for business. One of the unexpected highlights was the ocean view at night—absolutely delightful. Watching the lights reflect off the water added a real sense of calm to the stay.

We were really happy with apartment 05 Well appointed for our 4 night stay. The location was great. The facilities clean. BUT! The mattress on the king bed had collapsed on one side and made it impossible to sleep on. So, $800 later I spent 4 nights sleeping on the couch. Also the TV remote is so frustrating to use. You have to have it pointed exactly to were the receiver is. We ended up watching TV on our laptop to stop the frustration. When we checked out the only response we got was I'll let housekeeping know.

I booked a 1 Bedroom Ocean View Apartment, but the room's door lock was broken. I will give 0 stars for the room. I will also give 0 stars for the Customer Service I received from a staff member named Didi. My card was declined once last year due to my precautions against fraud transactions. Didi repeatedly mentioned my card decline six times. Furthermore, when I asked if they had water, she replied, "No." This response from an R Hotel staff member was surprising, as they have always had water available in the past. When I pointed this out, she replied, "Oh, you can pay and have water." I was taken aback by this response. Why did she inform me initially that water was not available? Instead, she chose to focus on my card decline from eight months ago. It's concerning to see the extent to which Customer Service can nag and decline a simple request for water. Is this the standard of service provided by R Hotel Geelong ?
