Oakwood Resort

I visited this place over the long weekend and accidentally booked my reservation for two months later than I had planned. Despite it being a busy night, the staff — especially (Guri)❤️— went above and beyond to fix my mistake. They managed to change my reservation and gave us a beautiful, clean room that even smelled amazing! We stayed with my dog and family, and everything about the experience was just perfect. The hospitality, cleanliness, and overall vibe of the place were outstanding. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay!

My wife and I recently stayed at the Oakwood resort for 5 nights. We had such a wonderful time. All of the staff made our stay a unique and relaxing vacation. They went above and beyond right from the very start. My first contact was with Debbie B, she was so polite and helpful. We spoke at length and she made our decision to book an easy one. Shortly after arriving we knew we had made the right choice. We had a few special needs and thanks to Guri S who was instrumental in accommodating our requests, made our beach outings possible. These are just two of the many staff who helped make our stay a trip to remember. A well run establishment with exceptional people who really do want your stay to be stress free.

I recently stayed here for a casual weekend away. The staff were wonderful, very friendly, informative and professional. During our check in one staff member was dealing with a guest making unrealistic demands and he did a fantastic job remaining calm and professional. The grounds are beautiful and very peaceful. The private beach access was the highlight for us, it was a very short walk from the resort and did not have nearly the crowd that the public beach had. We had dinner at the pub one night. Staff were very friendly, food was just okay. We stayed in the same building that the pool is located. We found the building and room to be a bit dated. The room was clean and had everything we needed, but the carpeting throughout the room and building is full of stains and needs to be replaced. The room was very spacious with high ceilings and we liked having access to a balcony. It had a separate/second sink which was very convenient for making coffee. Parking was free!! We were in and out over the weekend and always found a spot in front of the building. I found hallway traffic to be louder than normal compared to other hotels, earplugs helped to manage that though.
