Oasi Di Kufra Hotel

The hotel upgraded my room, but surprisingly, the "upgraded" room turned out to be smaller and less comfortable than the one I had originally booked. Although I appreciated the kind gesture from the staff, I was disappointed by the room's size and its view overlooking the hallway. When I returned to the reception, they were welcoming and immediately offered to move me to a more spacious room with a sea view—so thank you to them for that. This experience taught me that when a hotel offers you an upgrade that doesn’t suit your needs, it's okay to politely decline. Overall, the resort is truly excellent. The beach is just steps away—perhaps it felt even more relaxing because it’s April, before the busy season begins. It’s a great location and definitely worth a visit.

Disappointed with Our Stay – Wouldn’t Recommend** I stayed at this hotel during the summer, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. They charge $30 _per person per day_ to use the swimming pool — something I’ve never encountered before. The swimming pool was always empty. What if I wanted to use it for an hour or two? Access to the gym also comes with a daily extra fee, which felt excessive. Basic amenities like a coffee or tea maker were missing from the room, another first for me on vacation. To make matters worse, our air conditioning wasn’t working, and we had to switch rooms. The replacement was in a building across the street and noticeably cheaper and smaller (and no ocean view) than what we originally booked and paid for. No apology or compensation offered. It genuinely felt like they were trying to charge guests for anything they possibly could. While most of the staff were friendly, one mature server had a noticeably bad attitude that left a negative impression. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again, nor would I recommend it to others.

My kids slept in, so I took them down to breakfast at 10:40. Front desk told us breakfast was until 11am, waiter at breakfast said it ended 10:30. A simple “sorry breakfast is over” would have been perfectly fine. As I am aware I let the kids sleep in. Waiter expressed frustration then mumbled loudly in a different language. Other guest were sitting down finishing their breakfast as my kids and I walked out. Completely ruined our stay at oasi
