If you’re planning a stay at Sentosa, I highly recommend this hotel. The location is excellent, with everything within a 5-minute walking distance. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. The hotel staff is professional and attentive, ensuring a comfortable stay. There’s a lovely outdoor pool, and the crowds are manageable, allowing for a relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast is delicious and a great start to your day. If we have the chance to stay at Sentosa again, this hotel would be our top choice.
Didn’t stay here but visited the resort and was really impressed. The mix of heritage architecture and modern design is gorgeous — peaceful, lush, and very well thought out. The old colonial buildings give it a unique charm, and the greenery everywhere makes it feel like a true retreat. Loved the vibe of the lobby and the pool area especially. You can tell the focus is on wellness and relaxation. There’s also a pretty got mix of F&B restaurants around the area from Asian to Western cuisines. Lobby service staff were all very friendly and helpful too. Would definitely consider staying here next time for a quiet escape in Sentosa.
This hotel ruined what should have been a joyful evening on my wedding day. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families or anyone expecting professional and reliable service. Despite repeated follow-ups, there was clearly no communication within the team, and duty manager‘s handling of the situation was completely unacceptable. I had the worst experience on my wedding day at this hotel. We had a reservation for three rooms — two for family and one for the bride — and specifically requested connecting rooms via email through the wedding venue. Although the wedding venue sent an email to the duty manager regarding our room reservations and requests, the duty manager did not follow up on any of them when creating the reservations. Despite multiple phone calls to confirm our requests, the staff had no record that the three rooms were linked or that connecting rooms had been requested. I was asked to call back the day before check-in to check availability, but even then the hotel could not locate my reservations or requests. I had to repeat the same explanations and requests multiple times, and contacting the hotel was extremely difficult — each time I had to call more than five times just to speak with a staff member. On check-in day, one of the connecting rooms was available for early check-in, and the other was still being cleaned. I requested that the connecting door be opened once the room was ready, as we would not be in the hotel due to wedding events. The receptionist promised to open the connecting door, and I was truly grateful. However, later that evening, the situation was shocking. The other connecting room, which was being cleaned, was actually not connected to the room we had already checked into. Although the receptionist had promised to open the connecting door, no one could explain why we ultimately received a room that was not connected. As a result, my non-English-speaking parents and family were unable to enter the other room and had to wait in a single room until late at night. Moreover, the night duty manager’s communication was extremely frustrating. He said he had arranged a connecting room and offered to switch the rooms, but repeatedly avoided answering questions about the room category. He kept saying it was a “different room,” and only after I asked multiple times did he admit it was actually a downgraded room. If he had explained from the beginning that the only available connecting room was of that category, I would not have been nearly as upset. Instead, he seemed to hide this fact, which felt very dishonest and untrustworthy.
