It was my wife's birthday and the hotel upgraded our room, decorated our bedroom, wrote her a lovely birthday card and sent her a special birthday gift at dinner. What a fantastic hotel. Highly recommend.
What a lovely hotel. The rooms are huge and the temperature set to a good level (usually in hotels I boil in my own skin). Facilities are excellent and I indulged in a massage which was marvelously relaxing and set the tone for the whole weekend. We were staying for a silver wedding and the function rooms were beautifully decorated. Food was excellent but the real stars of the show were the staff. They were all so friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
Booked as the spring getaway for a family celebration which included dinner. The rooms were very spacious and clean and a special touch was the decorative swan towel and rose petals left on my daughter’s bed. Dinner was tasty (some items had an added charge) and the breakfast choice was good. Staff were polite and helpful. If I had one comment for improvement , it would be the garden areas - it looks as if some work is already being undertaken so hopefully this will be extended. A bit of colour and scent would really enhance the gardens.
