Stayed here on my way to Croatia. Excellent location, beautiful scenery and great rooms. Slept like a baby, had a simple but excellent breakfast and was on my way refreshed and rested.
On our way from the Netherlands to Slovenia we decided to make a stop after 10hours of driving at night. We ended up at Oberwinklgut, but came to the conclusion that (with our sleepy minds) accidentally we booked for 1 day later! All 2p bedrooms were filled for that night, but luckily the lady was so kind and understanding that we were allowed to stay in one of the appartments that they offer. After a nice refreshing jump in the pool, a hot shower, a good nights sleep and breakfast with fresh milk straight from the cow we took one last look at the amazing view and continued our drive to Slovenia. Thanks for having us Oberwinklgut!
The best place on earth🥰the owners are wonderful, the view is spectacular, and you can do everything (swimming in lakes, rafting in rivers, canyoning in „Strubklamm“, paragliding, skydiving, mountain biking, hiking, seeking chanterelles or blueberries, or just enjoying the peace and serenity of this place)
