We’ve just returned from a weeks all inclusive holiday with 2 x 15 year olds in tow. Yes the transfer is a bit long BUT so worth it. The hotel is very large and impressive yet never felt as busy as it should for being full in August. The food was great overall and the snack bar was incredibly handy when you just wanted to stay around the pool area. Plus this bar had beer, sangria and soft drinks on tap which we took full advantage of! There was staff permanently cleaning and everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious with a large balcony, nice to have air con and a ceiling fan too, large wardrobes were a big plus. All rooms seemed to face the sea too. Yes there is a fairly steep hill to the few shops and bars at the bottom, but another 5-10 minute flat walk took you further in town where there were plenty more amenities and a taxi from there would bring you back up the hill to the hotel main reception for a bargain price of 5 euro. We did visit the beach briefly near the lighthouse, there’s a restaurant and WC’s there, it’s a stunning beach and the colour of the water was like that in the Caribbean. Only downside to the whole holiday is finding shade around the pool which can be tricky as not a great deal of it so an early start with the towels made sure we did get the beds we wanted for our pale vampire teens! We spent the whole time around the quiet pool but the main entertainment pool looked good fun and plenty seemed to join in the entertainment. The evening entertainment on the whole was pretty good too, just need to get your seats early if it’s busy as these go quickly. As a whole we had a great holiday and we’ll absolutely return!
Came for a family holiday, all inclusive. The hotel is great, but the staff are really the stars, every single staff member is always smiling and friendly, room staff, gardeners, pool attendants, catering, everyone. The food is also very good, and plentiful. The egret's and doves are a delight too. Facilities are good, a few odd corners here and there might be a bit tired looking but everything works. Entertainment is a pleasant surprise. Just to reiterate, it's the staff that make this place, they all clearly work very hard in what is an incredibly busy hotel.
What can I say - I LOVED my time here. The animation team work tirelessly to keep everyone entertained. Our room with a sea view was perfect. All the food delicious. Amazing heated swimming pool. I would go back in a heartbeat. The only downside wasn't a fault with the fabulous hotel. Just the transfer from airport was looooong. Worth it to get there tho 😁
