The rooms are clean and fresh, kept to a high standard with daily cleaning and the restaurants offer a great selection with high availability of healthy options!

Barceló Lanzarote Active Resort: Our Top Choice in Lanzarote! We absolutely loved our stay at Barceló Lanzarote Active Resort! This hotel is perfectly located right in the center of the island, which made it super easy to visit everything Lanzarote has to offer. The pools are great, and the staff were consistently pleasant and helpful. But what really stood out was the incredible quality of the buffet. It's honestly one of the best hotel buffets we've ever experienced, with an amazing variety of choices and truly high-quality products. Breakfast was equally impressive, with so many options, and everything was delicious. It's a fantastic choice for exploring Lanzarote – we highly recommend it!

Stayed for 1 week with my partner and when we arrived we were shocked on how modern it looks. The hotel looks absolutely lovely can’t fault that at all. Now luckily we didn’t care as much as others did about sunbathing by the pool but if you wanted a sun bed it would be a fight for one. People started queuing up for a sun bed as early as 7:30 and no one wants to wake up at that time for a sun bed. People would reserve their sun beds with their towels when it clearly says not allowed but they don’t anything about it. Food was good , a lot of options and different dishes every day , snack bar would be good if you liked reheated nuggets. There was salads and stuff like that too so wasn’t to bad but wasn’t great. The location itself isn’t great to be honest, we rented a car so wasn’t a problem for us but there isn’t much going on around the hotel. The entertainment wasn’t our sort of thing, most of it was for kids and they had a singer at our part of the hotel we stayed in on Friday night and Sunday night which would end at 10pm(bit to early). Rooms were very well sized , didn’t have a problem with cockroaches as I see a lot of other reviews say that did . However , after a while air-con was dripping water which is normal but very annoying. I think overall the hotel is nice could be better, anything over a weeks stay I think I would have got way to bored. Main things that let it down is the entertainment and the sun bed wars.
