Occidental Roca Negra Adults Only

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The view from our room was absolutely stunning – we could see the ocean and the nearby cliffs, which made every morning feel special. The location is excellent, right next to the town, and the ferry terminal is nearby making it very easy to take a trip to Tenerife. The service throughout our stay was friendly and professional. My wife and I also booked a massage at the spa. I really enjoyed mine – it was relaxing and well done – but my wife was hoping for a deeper, more sports-style massage. The spa area itself was very nice and peaceful. The outdoor swimming pool was a bit colder than we expected; I’m not sure if it was advertised as heated. For me it was refreshing Overall, we had a great experiene and I can definitely recommend this hotel

This hotel is located on quite possibly the prettiest part of the island, built into the rocks with stunning views. The room was fairly basic but clean and being on the ground floor it was nice to be able to step straight out into the pool area. All the staff we encountered were very welcoming and helpful. The buffet meals were decent, some nights were better than others but I enjoyed the variation. The pool was never too busy and had a really peaceful atmosphere. I'd highly recommend staying here if you are looking for somewhere beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!

hotel in the middle of nowhere with not really much to do. Probably okay if you like to go hiking, but that's about it. the front desk is friendly and compentent, the rest of the hotel is rather unprepared for non-spanish customers. if you are looking for the famous spanish friendliness, you will not be lucky here. food is underwhelming, (but this seems to be a general trend in this area). the hotel rooms have sweage pipes going straight though the walls, so if you are lucky enough to get the wrong room you will have the pleasure of waking up everytime someone in the hotel flushes the toilett.
