Ocean Inn Motel

We booked purely based on the other positive reviews and great price.. The room was tidy, modern, and spacious. We had a great sleep in the comfortable bed, and despite being relatively close to the road, there wasn't much road noise. Overall, it was a good experience and we would stay again. The staff were also very accommodating, and we were made to feel welcome. Thank you!

I booked very late due to being in North Shore hospital with my daughter, but the owner/manager couldn't have been more friendly & welcoming when i phoned to book. I was a little worried when I drove up to the motel and saw a pile of old furniture out the front. The external view of the Motel was not particularly great - looks like it needs a good clean and paint perhaps. However!!! It's what's on the inside that counts ... as I said, the night manager was very friendly even though I arrived at nearly 10pm. The room was very fresh looking, nice and clean, bathroom was so nice and bed was comfy. Very impressed for price and so close to the hospital that it was ideal. Definitely drive past the "Po" and head to Ocean Inn. My only feedback would be the addition of some Drinking Chocolate for a sweet sip before bed. (But that's just me being picky 🤣)

Was a really good stay, great service as well. Called up late at night as we noticed a room was still available and they were quick to reserve it for us over the phone. Room was decent enough, bed was really comfortable for a motel so A+ there & the shower also had good pressure. The only slightly concerning thing was that there were some questionable characters staying at the motel the night we were there which makes me think that maybe they do accommodate emergency housing tenants but I cannot confirm this for sure. Overall, was a great room for a decent price, would stay again
