Ocean Reef by See Ya At The Beach

It's a little older, but loved the downstairs walk out to beach. Shower to rinse off. May I suggest the hotel put in towel hooks. They had a few dishes, a few paper cups n coffee maker, microwave, full size stove and sufficient fridge. Didn't even have to adjust a/c , it was perfect the whole time. Guest services was accommodating when asking for more towels. Let's just see how long it takes to get $50 deposit back. Yes they had beach chairs, umbrellas, jet skis, n banana boat to rent. Some people left their trash on the beach, not cool. Other guests were pleasant. Very little parking, overflow parking is across street about half a block. Some people would park there just to go to beach, weren't even staying there. Sharkys was packed all the time, taking up parking as well. All n all enjoyed our visit.

Overall a good stay. Only downsides really was the lack of parking for the hotel. We had to circle around for about 10 minutes to find a spot to get into our room. The parking lot is shared with Sharkys restaurant and only clears when the restaurant is closed. When we first got into our room the floor was disgusting. Whoever had mopped did not sweep before so there was sand and hair stuck to the tile. There was also a ton of sand and hair in the bathtub, along with no toilet paper, towels, trash bags, and trash on the floor in the bathroom. Our balcony door was very hard to close and there was duct tape on the outside of it. The beds were comfortable but they were full of sand because our feet constantly got dirty from the sandy floor. Had to wear house shoes and wash my feet before bed because the floor was so filthy. Furniture was also stained and the couch bed was already unfolded when we came in. You can also hear the neighbors frequently.

Run away as fast as you can! Black mold EVERYWHERE IN ROOM, Serious bathroom leak that caused my daughter to slip upon entering room, smells like weed, gnarly mattresses- just lift the sheet and you'll see what's lurking under there. Absolutely filthy from floors to walls to furniture to fridge to ceiling. Honestly, not even sure this place is structurally sound. We didn't stay after moving two rooms because they got progressively worse. My mom and daughter were with me and I couldn't expose them to what's going on in that room. Location is good if you like the hustle and bustle of tourist, plus beachfront. But honestly, if I couldn't find another room, I planned to sleep outside the room. It was bad bad and I'm not even very picky. Just relatively clean is all I ask but this deserves a visit from a health inspector. Don't waste your time, money, or health, or stress.
