Ocean Sands Resort

Nice and clean spacious apartments with heaps of amenities. The parking spots are pretty big too. The spa and indoor pool were warm enough. There’s a sauna as well. It’s few minutes drive from Sea world and walking distance from the market.

Nice 5 star residential Resort has indoor and outdoor pools spas and steam rooms. Older building but all the rooms are sleek and modern an easy to keep clean. Right on Tedder Avenue has beautiful view towards the Broadwater and Hinterland.

So disappointed with our stay. There was construction noise the whole week! The drilling was constant and so loud that our windows were actually shaking. I was amazed that we were not offered any compensation when requested for it. We were told with a shrug of the shoulders that "it is, what it is". I'm disgusted with Ocean Sands. How they think they can charge $200 a night with incredibly loud construction noise is beyond me. Not to mention their apartments are incredibly outdated with stained carpet and starchy bed sheets. The indoor pool looks like an infection waiting to happen, and the outside pool area is much smaller than the pictures...not that we could use any of the facilities due to the building work. Surely management knew that no guests would be happy staying at the hotel during renovations and should have told bookings in advance of the disruptions. If this was the case I would have stayed elsewhere and not have my whole trip to the Gold Coast ruined. Do not stay here! They don't care about their guests, not to mention it is extremely overpriced.
