Ocean Star Resort

The room we got was pretty nice as there was 3 of us and the room had 3 beds. The pool was super small for kids and the beach was pretty boring. Overall this is a good place to sleep but facilities were minimal. The breakfast buffet was good as there was a variety of food but that's all that stood out to us.

Horrible hotel which has old rooms, broken ac and terrible food. The worst thing is they start playing incredibly loud music at 7am. Like pounding, thumping techno. Absolutely insane behaviour that wakes people up and ruins any sense of tranquility.

I am German with Vietnamese roots. Today in the morning I wanted to take some spring rolls from the breakfast buffet. Suddenly, a staff member approached me from the side and whispered something to me. I didn’t understand her, but she pushed me aside and directed me to the other side of the buffet, where all the other native Vietnamese guests were standing. My father later explained to me, and I also heard from other Vietnamese guests, that only foreigners were allowed to help themselves to that section of the buffet. To speak for both foreigners and Vietnamese: we are all human beings and should be welcomed as guests with the same hospitality. I have never experienced such discrimination before, and I will not forget this incident anytime soon. Presumably, foreigners also get rooms without defects, while ours has several issues that I initially tolerated. However, I cannot and will not tolerate such behavior. You should be ashamed. I am deeply disappointed.
