Oceanfront Hacienda

My husband and I went for a quick weekend getaway. This hotel is both close enough and far enough away from San Diego. We love the location, it is within walking distance to "downtown" San Clemente and the Pier. There are numerous coffee shops, restaurants, shops etc. all just a short walk from the hotel. The pool and hot tub are on refreshing. The staff is always so nice and accommodating. I really appreciate the free onsite parking. They also have an off-site gym available.

Highly recommend this hotel! We blocked off 20 rooms for a local conference & the management / staff were so accommodating. The process was so smooth & communication was great throughout the whole process. All guests that stayed here had nothing, but amazing things to say!

We really wanted to like this place. We loved the location and ease of getting to/from there. Our room was always clean and the staff was friendly. But the WiFi is unsecured and weak, they constantly ran out of towels (we were denied 3 times asking for replacements), and waiting for the only elevator grew frustrating. Pros: Proximity to restaurants/shopping/beach/pier, outdoor seating, parking, pool/hot tub Cons: Unsecured and spotty WiFi, lack of towels, I-5 right behind the building, always waiting for single elevator
