We had a room for the night and found it very reasonable. The room was very spacious for 2 adults and 2 children, A/C was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn’t have done more for you. The pool was a big plus after a 4 hour drive in 30+ degrees, nice to relax, have a few beers and cool off in the pool. Breakfast was good, lots of choice and plenty to eat. If we’re in the area again we will definitely stay again.
We stayed for 2 nights as a base for touring the area. The Pros: The staff here were absolutely lovely! Also, the hotel is conveniently located right next to a small strip mall with a supermarket, some restaurants, shops, etc...which was great! The pool area looked nice, but we didn't use it. Everything was very clean around the hotel itself. The Cons: We had no fridge in our room to put anything to stay cold. We bought a thermal bag and just kept asking for ice which was very inconvenient over the course of 2 days (although again, the staff were very kind and had no problem continuing to fill our ice bucket). Also, there is no plug in the bathroom for a curling/straightening iron. The only place to plug anything in was out by the TV, and that was too far away from the mirror to be of any use. There was no iron/ironing board either. Please get rid of the hair dryers and replace them with ones that you don't have to continually hold the button down to get them to work. It gets tiring when one has long hair to dry. I think that with the 4 star designation of this hotel, there could be some improvements made. I wouldn't not recommend it, but I would stay elsewhere myself for those reasons next time.
Unfortunately, this hotel did not meet our expectations: room air conditioning is just noisy and it does not cool down; the hotel restaurant shiwed very poor quality standards (dinner and breakfast seemed as if they were bought at the mall behind the hotel and warmed in a microwave with grill function); the hotel restaurant staff is nice, but not professional. Actually, i am still trying to guess how this hotel got 4 stars.
