Oceans at Carina Bay Adults Only

We stayed at this resort a few months ago during Christmas and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was impeccably maintained, with clean, comfortable rooms that made our stay truly enjoyable. The resort offered a great selection of food and drinks, all included with the stay, adding to the convenience. Beyond the welcoming atmosphere, the breathtaking views created the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. We also appreciated the variety of water equipment available for use, included with the stay, which added to the overall experience. Everything about this stay was top-notch, being an adult only was a plus and I would absolutely return with my family—100% recommended! Still thinking about 4 months later!

I had the pleasure of enjoying 10 days here in March. My room had an ocean view, was quiet and very clean. Special thanks to Abena for helping me navigate the espresso machine ❤️ giving me great day trip ideas and maintaining my room thru the week. I looked forward everyday to Vahti making me my special mango smoothie! The hotel is situated on the best side of the island, IMO. The beach was swimmable ( no under current) and had no seaweed. They were groomed daily. Try the kayak or paddle board here, the bay is enclosed by a natural reef! The food is excellent! From the buffet breakfast which had so much variety with something special for everyone to the Italian restaurant where I enjoyed EVERYTHING! You will be catered to and pampered here with no kids running around. Guaranteed privacy here💕

The ocean view was beautiful BUT...Thisnplace is a money pit. NONE of the water activities were available on the resort like it says so we had to travel to do water activities although we were at an all inclusive resort. The staff/management acted as if the sea weed was just recent when in reality based on almost year old reviews, that wasn't true. We had to oay for taxis and was told a different price everytime. We have had tiny little bugs crawling all over the kitchenette and closet area. The alcohol beverages were watered down. No snacks available or vending if you should have wanted a late night snack. All food areas had a closing time. They gave us free transportation to one beach 1 day out the 5 days we were there because their beach wasn't able to be utilized. Which again has been that way for months. Rust stains on the linen not sure why but it was even on the curtains. I can say the buffet and bar food weren't that bad. Probably the only decent part of the resort. The Golf Course. Omg...The area was very poorly managed. Weeds and grass EVERYWHERE. Filthy swamp like water in the water areas on the course. Nowhere to sit to be able to observe or watch the game(s). Electricity areas not properly covered with some wiring exposed. The staff was pleasant but dishonest about the resort. Although the island was beautiful the place is a money pit...I think we spent close to if not $200 on transportation alone because our resort lacked a lot of the things we chose them for. I enjoyed the relaxation but I wouldn't take another visit to this particular resort
