Ocean's Edge Resort

Ocean edge resort is a lovely hidden gem on Carabao Island, Philippines. The staff was so lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible everyday. I recommend the Muni Muni villa for it's spaciousness and view. I looked forward to waking up at 6:30am to get to enjoy coffee and breakfast (corn beef or longansa with rice & eggs) on their breathtaking terrace that over looks the sun, ocean and birds at 7am. I loved being greeted by staff and the adorable guard's puppies, Tango and his friend (sorry, I can't remember it's name. It's a brown and white doggy). Love them! An incredible experience! The location and views from our villa were spectacular. The property was well maintained and the staff were absolutely wonderful! Everyone was so pleasant and attentive to are our needs and questions. Honourable mention to the staff that made our stay extra special: Ciarra, Merjun & Bebit. A beautiful oasis in the quiet island of Carabao. A hidden gem! We organised a private boat from Boracay to and from the island and were able to dock at the hotel beachfront making it even more special an experience. The room was wonderful, clean, had great WiFi (Starlink) and had an incredible ocean view. We had the entire hotel to ourselves pretty much, with only a few other guests staying at the time, and were treated like VIPs. We opted for dinner at the hotel each night and lunch on our last day and were delighted by the quality of the Filipino style food cooked by Chef Melvin. The staff, Gloria and Ciarra, were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They organised massages for us and scooters to tour round the island ready for us at the hotel on our second day. This was a great way to see all the beaches and cathedral cove. The roads were really good to drive on. The hotel beach offered incredible snorkeling. Definitely recommend taking a few days to visit Carabao island and stay at this hotel if you can, for the ultimate in relaxation and an opportunity to explore an undiscovered island.
