Google Review (English) – Ockenden Manor Hotel & Spa, England We booked two rooms and loved both for different reasons. • Top-floor room in the old house: full of character, wonderfully warm, and surprisingly well equipped. Truly special. • Room in the new wing by the spa/pool: wide open views, super comfortable, perfectly convenient for a quick dip or treatment. Everywhere was spotless and well maintained. Cozy, clean, and simply excellent. Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
What a dreamy day spent at the spa! I was gifted the Sunrise Package, which included a welcome smoothie, 1-hour treatment and 2-course lunch, all of which were blissfull. I received a wonderful prenatal massage from Heather, who did such brilliant job I struggled not to fall asleep (which has not been easy at 38 weeks pregnant!). The spa was the perfect place to relax with so many chillout areas, a pretty rooftop garden and stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The restaurant was also in a gorgeous setting, located in the old Manor House, which has beautifully decorated rooms full of wood panelling and charm. The food was delicious and service impeccable - on arrival at the restaurant, the waiter thoughtfully brought me a pillow for my back without me having to say a word. It's the little touches that make a place stand out and the staff at Ockenden are so friendly, professional and attentive it really enhances the experience. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable day and I am looking forward to booking the same experience for my mum as she really deserves a treat!
Stayed as a last minute booking due to plans changing. Hotel and spa staff were all really nice and friendly, and went over an above to accommodate our requests. Spa was nice, perhaps need a refresh in places and staff needed to be aware of cleaning/tidying as they go, often towels left laying around and floors a bit mucky where people are in/out. However their service for drinks was impeccable! Hotel restaurant was very nice, food choice of locally sourced food and drinks. Overall a nice stay.
