Octant Ponta Delgada

The hotel and staff are amazing! Thank you Luis for all the emails prior to arriving helping me with points of interest and restaurants! All the staff are attentive and helpful. The breakfast is amazing as is their dinner menu. We have eaten there 3 times now. The rooms are beautiful, the spa relaxing. Top 10 on my hotel list! Abrigada!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and they did an excellent job making sure we were taken care of. From the cookies on our beds every evening to the valet making sure our vehicle was ready every time. The new valet (Gilberto) went above and beyond to giving us excellent recommendations to making sure we had what we needed. We also had a few meals at the whale watching bar and their restaurant and the meals were very delicious. The cocktails at the whale watching bar were so good! And the dessert at the restaurant was out of this world. We also used the spa a few times for the circuit and originally wanted to book a massage but didn’t seem like we could get a time where it would be two of us getting a massage at the same time. Our only recommendation would be that if the spa knows they are short staffed (1 employee) for the day I would pull someone from the front desk to make sure that the spa desk is staffed. The location was very close to things by car and perfect if you want to explore the whole island vs just one side. Overall excellent experience will definitely be coming back!

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Level of service was exceptional (everyone was warm and extremely attentive). Rooms were well laid out, immaculately clean and well designed. We had the opportunity to use the spa which was wonderful, and even splurged for massages which were also excellent. Though we only stayed one night, we hit the breakfast buffets three times during our visit (20 Euros if you aren't staying over). Needless to say we found the quality and variety of food to be outstanding
