ODSweet Duomo Milano Hotel

My wife and I just spent one night at the OD suite hotel. If you’re looking to be in the center of everything with a very short walk to the Duomo and the gallery and other sites, this location was great. It is a fun theme hotel, and we stayed in a marshmallow room. if you have kids, this would be a good spot. Pricing wasn’t bad. I don’t believe that our bed really was a king size bed as advertised felt more like a queen. The biggest problem was that there was music until after 4 AM because we stayed at the hotel on a Friday night and there was a huge Party close to the Duomo. For that reason we got very little sleep. I don’t know if that is a regular occurrence, but people who are looking for peace and quiet should probably think twice. Staff was very nice

Decent hotel with small lobby and good rooms. The rooms have a heavy chocolate theme because there is a chocolate shop next to the hotel with the same name. There was a box filled with assorted cheap chocolates in the corner of the room. It was in a great spot that’s very close to the Duomo.

Disrespectful Staff, Awful Service – Do Not Recommend This was one of the most uncomfortable and disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. From the start, the staff were extremely rude and completely unhelpful. There was no warmth, no effort, and no sense of hospitality at all. The situation in the restaurant was unacceptable. When I tried to add a chair to our table, one of the waiters actually shouted at me — despite the restaurant being nearly empty and it being late at night. There was absolutely no reason for that kind of reaction. A simple, respectful response like “Sir, I’ll get your table ready” would’ve been more than enough. Even worse, the waiters were openly mocking us in Italian, assuming we didn’t understand. It was obvious and incredibly unprofessional. The waiter who served us also had a very unpleasant body odor, which made the entire dining experience even more uncomfortable. As for the room, it was a complete letdown. There was only one small bottle of water, no candy, snacks, or anything remotely like what was shown in the photos. It felt cheap and thrown together — nothing like the advertised experience. This hotel is seriously lacking in basic standards of respect, service, and cleanliness. I strongly do not recommend staying here. There are far better places where you’ll be treated like a guest, not an inconvenience.
