Central location for accommodation in an elegant, old building. Comfortable, but cold. The wall fan heater didn't do much. Same building as the Heritage Hotel, but not associated. We were staying as Air B&B. Next door to an MIQ facility.

Stayed for one night, didn't use the pool facilities. We liked the heritage look with the high ceilings and mezzanine bedroom above. The bathroom could do with a make over as it's looking a bit dated. Also the lighting in there is average, plus there's no extractor fan, just a dusty vent.

A surprise overnight stay which was nice but a little disappointing. We were in a suite, however there were no robes, so the trip from the suite to the pool/spa/sauna was in togs and towel. The place is, overall, quite nice, however it's poorly maintained and in need of both a decent dusting and clean, as well as some cosmetic work (bubbling paint on numerous walls, thick layered dust on the ceiling fan, heavily worn carpet, cracks and stains on the ceiling (not sure what that stain is above the bed...!), etc etc). No fan in the bathroom either, just a dust filled vent. The pool area really needs to be shut and repainted entirely, after the rust is removed. The bar was really small but looked like they have decent food options. While there's space outside, it's not ideal in winter. The space across the hall from the bar is quite the dumping ground, which adds to the diminished overall appeal of the place, sadly. I'd come back if the whole place was upgraded (and included robes - simple but a nice, necessary even, part of an escape away).
