I recently stayed at Ohana Hotel and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel has a warm and welcoming vibe, with staff who were courteous and helpful throughout my stay. The check-in process was smooth, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I especially appreciated the thoughtful little touches like complimentary water bottles and clean linens. The location is convenient, making it easy to explore nearby attractions and restaurants. The in-house dining options were decent, though there’s definitely room for improvement in terms of variety and taste. One area that could be enhanced is soundproofing—the noise from the hallway occasionally filtered into the room. However, this didn’t majorly affect my stay. Overall, Ohana Hotel offers good value for money and is a solid choice for travelers looking for a comfortable and friendly place to stay. I’d consider returning on my next visit.

One of the worst hotel stays of my life. I booked the deluxe room to avoid any bad surprises. When we arrived, we realized the room wasn’t very clean and there weren’t enough towels. After three nights, while we were in the room, we suddenly heard a sound coming from the toilet. At first, I thought it was a monkey. When I called reception, they found out it was a luwak that had gotten in through the ventilation system. They then offered us a room on the second floor that was full of mold. So every day we asked them to change the room, but they kept saying there were no other rooms available. As for breakfast, we never ate it because it was terrible — there was nothing to eat, not even juice. To sum it up, even if they gave me a free room, I would never go back. Avoid this place at all costs.

Terrible Experience – Had to Check Out Early, No Refund or Room Change Offered I had a very disappointing and frustrating stay at Ohana Hotel Bali. I booked for 3 nights but was forced to check out after just one night due to multiple issues with the rooms and the lack of proper response from the hotel staff. We checked in at 10:15 PM on June 16, 2025. The first room we were given was on the lower front corner of the pool. The receptionist assured us we could move to a better room upstairs the next day as per our booking. The problems started the next morning—when we were about to go for breakfast, we found that the room door couldn’t be opened from the inside. We had to pass the key through the window to a staff member so they could open it from the outside. While the breakfast was nice, that experience was already unsettling. Later that day, we were moved to an upstairs room. Unfortunately, this room had a leaking toilet that wouldn’t stop running. Water flooded the floor, making it slippery and uncomfortable. We reported the issue to the receptionist, and a maintenance staff member came to check. He admitted that the same problem had occurred just a few days earlier and that it needed a rubber ring replacement—but since it was already late and the shops were closed, the only solution offered was to manually open and close the water valve to use the toilet. Additionally, the room door did not lock properly, which made us feel unsafe. Given the poor condition of the room, lack of timely repairs, and the security concern, we had no choice but to move to another hotel. Despite all this, the hotel refused to offer a refund, compensation, or even an alternative room. This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Poor room maintenance, unresponsive management, and no concern for guest comfort or safety. I would not recommend staying here.
