I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying both Afternoon Tea and their Cocktails & Jazz evenings, and each one was memorable for all the right reasons. Afternoon tea in the Social Lobby is such a charming experience. From the beautiful music to the perfectly steeped tea and tiered trays of finger sandwiches, scones, and pastries it’s a lovely blend of elegance and comfort. The attention to detail is unmatched, and it’s such a unique offering for Greensboro. Cocktails & Jazz is pure magic. The live jazz is smooth and soulful, the cocktail list is thoughtful, and the ambiance feels upscale yet cozy. It’s the perfect way to unwind. Whether you’re a local or visiting, the O.Henry is a must for anyone who appreciates timeless hospitality, thoughtful experiences, and impeccable service.
My friends and I had the best time at Light Afternoon Tea. It was decadent and accessible. The afternoon tea requires a reservation. Make your reservations early to get the best times. The light afternoon tea is affordable at $14 a person. Jess, our server, was wonderful. She took our pictures and answered all of our questions. They were able to accommodate my need for decaffeinated tea. I also looked and saw that they have gluten free options for a friend. We went just because, but it would be a great place to celebrate a special event. Make sure to try your tea with sugar and milk. Pinkies up! You will not regret it.
What a wonderful find!!! My daughter and I were in town for the Adidas National track event and I booked a room based on reviews, wow am I glad I did. From check in to check out, it was a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is clean, has tons of character and everything you would need and expect. The staff are the real appeal. Everyone is friendly, helpful and attentive. The attached restaurant is fantastic and employee owned, which shows. You really can’t go wrong coming from someone who does a fair amount of travel. Worth the money.
