Ohtels Gran Hotel Almería

Happy to be back and the hotel looks wonderful, fresh ,spacious and light after the renovations. My group was very happy with the rooms and the location . Breakfast is a favourite with options for everyone and having an egg station is amazing, also freshly squeezed orange juice ! Lovely to see some familiar faces too , all the staff both front and back off house do a marvellous job ! Thank you to Paula the conferencing Manager for supporting our group ensuring everything ran smoothly. Would be nice to see some chairs on the balcony but hopefully they are on their way . Thank you Gran Hotel for a great stay , we will be back soon

Was a bit sceptical after reading some reviews but we just finished our holiday after the renovations and it was great! Everything was new and clean. The breakfast was great and really appreciated having items like eggs made fresh. You have standard items like bacon, eggs, beans, but also fruit and pastries. We liked the room and slept well - it was not loud at all. The area was very good, quite close to the beach and also the city centre! The staff were also very kind and patient - the check in and out was super easy and we also booked a taxi via reception which was no issue either. One improvement could maybe be adding some chairs onto the balcony as we didn’t have anywhere to sit but the view was lovely. Also the seasonal pool’s opening months are incorrectly displayed on Expedia (where we booked) which was a slight disappointment as we couldn’t use it but nothing to do with the quality of hotel! Really recommend and would return :)

Lovely hotel, seems a mix of business and pleasure. Very tastefully decorated and comfortable, well staffed, great choice at breakfast. Small pool, nice for a dip after sightseeing all day. Central to all sights.
