Ohtels La Hacienda

Although I wasn't impressed upon arrival (the hotel rooms are a bit dated), our stay at La Hacienda turned out to be absolutely lovely, all thanks to the wonderful staff, who is the true heart of this place. Special thanks to the Animacion Team (we loved the games, face painting and mini disco!) hugs and kisses to Nawal and Gaga, Lem at reception and Vanessa with the food team! We will be back ❤️ Claudia, Emilia and Julia The location is very good, close to the beach, the pools were fun! The only thing we would appreciate would be a bigger variety in the restaurant :)

The hotel is welcoming and friendly, the rooms are just what you need, we had a room with a pool view which can get a bit loud as the daytime and evening entertainment is in the same area but if you are planning to join in all of that then it is perfect. The hotel and grounds are very clean, the cleaning/maintenance crew are up and about early every day to keep it clean and tidy. The entertainment staff are great especially with the children and Gaga even remembers all the names, he is friendly and fun and great at getting people to join in. The food is very good,definitely no complaints from us and would come again and recommend to friends. We were very impressed with all the facilities provided. Thank you La Hasienda

We stayed here self catering for 10 days. ROOMS - were spacious and clean. Comfy beds. Did have to ask for extra pillows but that was no trouble to them. They don’t supply a kettle so recommend taking your own. POOL - is a nice size however you aren’t allowed ball games or any kind of inflatable in the pool. We have never heard of this before and there is nothing on the website that states this. We did witness quite a few children getting upset because they couldn’t use any type of inflatable. And the pools shallow end is probably about 3 ft deep so not ideal for small children who can’t swim . The life guards are miserable and rude. There was a jacuzzi but this was freezing cold. The kids paddling pool was great but they cant swim in this, it’s more of a splash pool. The 4 slides were great, however there was only a life guard for limited time. There was also not enough sun beds for the amount of people staying there. SNACK BAR / DRINKS - food and drink was average some stuff was expensive. Staff were friendly. ENTERTAINMENT- was pretty rubbish and not ideal of it was raining. OVERALL SERVICE- all staff of the front desk were very friendly and happy to help, bar staff were friendly, lifeguards not friendly at all. LOCATION- the location is ok. It’s about 10 minuets to the beach. And there are plenty of shops and restaurants. However the restaurants are all much the same. We did find a handful of lovely places to eat. Getting a taxi was very difficult. You had to rely on the hotel to call you one and then having to phone the hotel while you are out to phone again as the taxi company’s don’t speak any English. The hotel was very helpful with this. Overall the hotel was clean and nice it’s just a shame that the pool rules and lifeguards let this down. If you have kids age 5-11 it’s probably not the best hotel to pick.
