Okinawa Harborview Hotel

Fantastic hotel. Staff are great. Rooms are very comfortable, clean, light and a great place to stay in. Hotel has many excellent features, including a 24 hour gym and a 7-11 inside the hotel lobby area. Location is just a short walk from the tourist shopping area of Naha and the venue is a ideally located for short taxi or bus rides to all the Okinawa favourites. Will always stay here when in the area.

We had a great stay over New Years at this hotel. There were a lot of events held by the hotel on January 1st. The staff were all very friendly, the buffet dinner and breakfast were both delicious. The room was spacious, the view from the room was ok, good amenities. I thought the location was good, about 10 minutes walk to Kokusai-Dori. It’s nice to be a little far from the busy area, the area around the hotel was very quiet. I just wish the pool was heated so it can be used in the winter ! I hope to go back to this hotel

This hotel is no longer an ANA Crowne Plaza property and has been recently renamed Okinawa Harborview Hotel. Despite the name change, the hotel retains its 4-star rating, which is well warranted as it is a full-service hotel with many amenities. The hotel is located in a neighborhood area, which is quiet and secluded. It is up the hill from Tsubogawa Station, which is about a 10 minute walk. A 15-20 minute walk in the other direction leads you to Kokusaidori, which is Naha's main tourist street. While this hotel is a little older, it is very well maintained. Amenities include a fitness center, pool, spa, travel lounge, an Okinawan themed garden and a 7-Eleven on the ground floor. The hotel also has several restaurants and offers a buffet breakfast. The buffet breakfast costs extra, but is well worth the price as the selection is massive and the hot food selections, which include Okinawan dishes, change daily. There is also a self-serve Okinawan soba station and an egg station available. The rooms are larger than your usual Japanese hotel room, but not as spacious as those in the US. It feels comfortable and is right-sized. I got a standard twin room which had a nice city view. While rates can vary by season, you can get a very good deal on a room here. Especially now when the currency exchange rate is good. If you are looking for a hotel in Naha city that is quieter but is still close to the tourist attractions in town, Okinawa Harborview Hotel is a great choice.
