OKU Hotel Kos Adults Only

I stayed at OKU Kos for a short getaway and it completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, everything felt calm, thoughtful, and welcoming. The staff were incredibly polite and professional — always smiling, attentive, and helpful without being intrusive. You could tell they truly care about their guests. The room was beautifully designed — minimal but cozy, with lots of natural textures. Everything was spotless, the bed was super comfortable, and waking up to the soft sound of the sea was pure bliss. What really stood out to me was the restaurant — the food was not only fresh and flavorful, but also beautifully plated. I tried several dishes during my stay, and each one was special in its own way. Breakfasts were a highlight! The entire hotel has this soothing energy — it’s quiet, very well kept, and the views are just breathtaking. The sunsets here… unforgettable. I also loved relaxing by the pool and walking down to the beach, which felt almost private and untouched. If you’re looking for a place to disconnect, recharge, and enjoy genuine comfort, I can’t recommend OKU Kos enough. I’ll definitely return. I recently stayed at Oku Hotel in Kos, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome set the tone for the entire stay. Alex, the general manager, was truly outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always going the extra mile to make sure guests felt special. His professionalism and personal touch really made a difference. The rooms were beautiful—spacious, thoughtfully designed, and decorated in a modern, earthy style that felt both luxurious and relaxing. Everything was spotless, and the attention to detail in cleanliness was noticeable. I especially loved the natural light and the peaceful, minimalist vibe. The front office team was equally impressive—always smiling, helpful, and quick to assist with any request. They made the check-in and check-out process effortless and were a great resource for local tips and recommendations. If I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be the dinner experience. While breakfast and lunch were fresh and enjoyable, the dinner menu could use more variety and flavor to match the high standards of the rest of the hotel. Overall, Oku Hotel is a beautiful property with excellent service, a relaxing atmosphere, and a team that genuinely cares about its guests. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Kos.

OKU is just OK. It’s not a 5 star experience by any means. And definitely not worth the price tag. Standout is the evening meals. Thought every meal at the restaurant was great. Staff is split. Some are great and others appear to be on their first day. There’s a collection of small things that weren’t great. Firstly AC couldn’t be modified (broken). No bathrobes in the room (weird). Asking reception to book a taxi for us resulted in us missing our dinner completely (they “requested” a taxi but never booked- and also never told us this). One of the hosts at dinner has a weird attitude. Their app which they ask you to download doesn’t actually work (they’ll say it’s an IT issue but I think they’re cutting corners). The beds beside the pool are way too worn in. These things should have been replaced long ago - you’ll complete sink through some of them onto the wooden base. Beach beds have no recline (I found the static position mostly uncomfortable) On the other side the beach is beautiful. Dinner is good but overpriced. Breakfast was really good. Overall the place looks gorgeous. Really well designed. Some of the staff are excellent- it’s just not consistent. I would not come back here. Not for the price. Your money can go much further elsewhere. We came from a 4 star the previous week and nearly every aspect was a downgrade
