Okura Act City Hotel Hamamatsu

Hotel with good views. Connected to the nearby mall and station with a footbridge on the 2nd floor, very convenient. Good service. It'd be even better if guests are required to tap the room card before accessing the guest room floors for security reasons as it makes me feel safer. Will definitely stay here again if I come to Hamamatsu.

Luxury hotel with nice views since this hotel occupies the top floors of the tallest building in Hamamatsu. Even-numbered rooms will have a more scenic view than odd-numbered. Rooms are very spacious though a bit outdated but the service kindness makes up for it. The only bad thing for me was the “airweave” mattress. I had no idea what it was, but it turns out to be a japanese brand that touts a firm mattress which feels like a traditional sleep-on the-floor futon experience, and it delivers. Well that’s precisely why I prefer business hotels to ryokans in Japan and we all had aching backs after sleeping.

An Excellent Stay with Stunning Views I had a wonderful experience at Okura Act City Hotel Hamamatsu. The location is incredibly convenient—right next to Hamamatsu Station, which made traveling around super easy. The room was spacious, clean, The staff were warm, courteous, and always ready to help, even with limited English. I appreciated the attention to detail and the calm, upscale atmosphere throughout the hotel. Breakfast was delicious, with a good mix of Japanese and Western options. If you're visiting Hamamatsu, whether for business or leisure, I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, convenience, and hospitality. Would definitely stay again!
