5 stars are not enough to describe how good this hotel is. Everything is just so perfect here. I have been to so many luxury hotels in the world and Japan, but this hotel and restaurant are unbelievablly amazing. The staff is very polite and professional, I couldn't find anything to complain. I had a pleasant stay and would definitely come back in the future. Thanks for the hospitality. Just only one thing, it would be great if they could sell some of their room products, like pajamas and osake. I want to buy their sake in the minibar for souvenirs. オセロ 楽しかた. I want to buy it and bring it back home.

The most amazing hotel I’ve ever had the chance to visit. Everything about it was perfect—the location, the food, the staff, the cosy small house, and the outdoor onsen by the river. The staff were absolutely incredible! Even when the entire neighbourhood lost power, they ensured the dinner went uninterrupted by bringing candles and lights, creating a uniquely charming atmosphere. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me!

Very peaceful and simple small ryokan with very attentive and tactful staff. I stayed there alone to relax for one night and it served the purpose very well. I enjoyed the quiet room with a beautiful river view, the food served at a separate dining room was delicious and creative. This inn doesn't have distractions such as shops, many people, advertisements, suggestions to buy something, so one can truly take their time. If you like it, you can also have a small hike in the nearby mountain.
