Olas Verdes Hotel

Great stay for surf, sleep and serenity — just skip the surf school Highly recommend this hotel if you’re after good sleep, surfing, and a relaxing time. It’s in a quiet part of town, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, and away from the busier, party-heavy areas. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The in-house massage is a great perk — highly recommended and pretty good value for Nosara. Breakfast was also decent and set me up well for the day. My only flag would be the attached surf school. It was significantly more expensive than others in the area, and unfortunately, the lessons were the least enjoyable and least effective of the many I took during my three weeks in Nosara. I’d suggest enjoying the hotel and booking surf lessons elsewhere.

This is a wonderful place like a hidden gem. It’s best to let them pick you up as the roads to Nosara this month were really tough in my all wheel drive. The staff is lovely and will do anything for their guests. It’s beautiful and relaxing. You can walk to the beach and the town of Nosara is adorable. They are allergy friendly and made my son gf pancakes. This is a kid friendly destination up to April. This month the surf was getting a bit strong for kids. I will definitely be back. ❤️

Did the safari surf package for the week. We were delighted to be in such a quiet and lovely hotel that also was great with the kids. Everyone was kind, the surf instructors were wonderful, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend!
