Old Bank Hotel Lion Roars Hotels & Lodges

This was our very first time in Cape Town, and staying at the Old Bank Hotel made it truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome and taken care of. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, with a stylish and comfortable atmosphere, but what really stood out was the exceptionally kind and attentive staff. We felt so at home during our stay that, on our last evening, we chose not to go out for dinner in the city — instead, we enjoyed a delicious meal right at the hotel. We also had cocktails at the hotel bar on two nights, and the service was always quick, friendly, and professional. We had a wonderful time and would absolutely recommend the Old Bank to anyone visiting Cape Town. We’re already looking forward to coming back one day!

I stayed here for a total of three nights, and each one was fantastic! The hotel is located right in the heart of Cape Town, so you can expect to hear some street and bar noise. However, it was never so loud that it disrupted my sleep. I also want to say that I felt very safe here. There was 24/7 security and surveillance so you don’t have to worry about any suspicious activity going into the hotel. The central location is a huge plus—you’re close to everything you’d want to see. My boyfriend and I took a leisurely 20-minute walk to the Waterfront, passing plenty of nice shops and restaurants along the way. The staff and service were absolutely amazing! Everyone was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. It was clear that they genuinely care about their guests. I have no complaints at all and would happily stay here again!

Very nice hotel located in the city center. The room I had was huge and clean. The breakfast offers a pretty good selection of food. The personnel at the receipt is very handfull.
