Old Colonial Hotel Weston Super Mare Marston's Inns

Check in at bar, not really an issue, room was lovely,sea view,plenty of room. Bed big and comfy. Couple issues,we ordered food using the bar code, didn't go through to bar,then when it finally came out, we were not impressed at all, the young girl who served us, was very helpful, and changed it to something else. The next morning at breakfast which was included in our stay, we ordered, and to our mirror, we were told that it DOES NOT come with hot drink, this we had to order and pay for...I have never in any hotel,either in UK or abroad, not had a hot drink as part of breakfast.. saying that, the breakfast was really good... Overall a really lively room,good also lovely, just a few niggles.. would def recommend though.

Cracking little ish pub with very helpful and cheerful staff. No reasonable request is a problem, Rich, Alyssa and Ryley all very helpful and cheerful. Food is great too (remember to upgrade to a large portion).

Liked that we could check in online but didn't like that the payment was taken a day early when the booking stated we had time to cancel. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The bed was comfortable, although it was a link double and one mattress was slightly raised making the middle uncomfortable. It was nice to have a bath, but it took ages to fill. Rare to have free parking so that was good as well.
