Great hotel. Main elevators were not operating due to a part. The hotel allowed the service elevator to be used which was a big help. Food is amazing. The lamb chops were one of the best I have ever had. Tender, lots of flavor and paired with mashed potatoes. The Poets Corner offers Pub food and has trad sessions. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return.
Everyone who works here is WONDERFUL. So friendly, so willing to help, so accommodating. We had many interactions with Kirsty and Sarah at the front desk...we LOVE them!!! The place is beautiful, and maze-like! The food is tops - i am vegan and they were wonderfully accommodating. Beds and pillows so comfy. I absolutely plan to stay here again and would recommend HIGHLY to anyone considering.
Beautiful place. Very clean. No air conditioning in our room. Not handicap friendly, limited number of accessable rooms. Had to use service elevator and climb up and down stairs to get to room. Main Elevator out of service the 2 days we were there. Nice friendly pub. First class breakfast.
