We've stayed at this lovely B&B for 1 night with our 2 small children and enjoyed every aspect of our stay.. From the moment you step into this beautiful old barn you feel very welcome. Cleanliness is absolutely exceptional and I don't think we've ever stayed in a place that spotless. Beautifully decorated. We stayed in a family room (Bluebell suit)e which is an en-suite and has a double and 2 single beds which was perfect for us. We were travelling with a 3 and 1 year old. We were also given a travel cot so there was more then enough space for us. Lynne and Stephen (the owners) are one of the nicest people we've ever met. Very helpfull!!! We had full Welsh Breakfast and an omelette in the morning which was freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. We could not have asked for more and I personally think it was worth every penny. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and will stay again if we come back to Brecon Beacons.
DON'T BOOK! Very disappointing stay. The weekend was more a special occasion but unfortunately it wasn't to be. Firstly I booked on Booking.com only to be contacted by owner saying that the cost was incorrect so I booked directly... On receiving an email and finding that the rate had increased dramatically but had included the use of spa and breakfast and an upgraded room!!! I was warned that I needed to arrive by 9.30 as any later I'd have to pay an additional fee... On arrival the room looked ok but I was confused of where the upgrade was! A relatively small room with all the privacy of a paper bag. The walls were obviously un insulated as you could hear everything in the corridor. The shared bathroom! Yes this was clean but I was expecting a private bathroom for the £360 I paid for 2 nights especially as I was supposedly been upgraded. The breakfast was OK. The spa was ok but hot enough to cook a lobster... Overall this stay was extremely disappointing as I feel I've been had over and ripped off. £360 is a disgusting amount to be charged for this accommodation in a barn!! I didn't complain on my departure as I didn't want any more upset on our disappointing weekend stay Anyone who books this.... Warning...watch out for extra this and that.
Unsafe, luxury suite was dangerous very low ceilings my partner kept banging his head, ensuite was across the hall way,, bedside lights didn't work WiFi didn't work power shower didn't have power, bed was totally uncomfortable. Very noisy room you could hear everyone in the hotel.Very poor lighting outside dangerous uneven paths. Birthday weekend totally wrecked. We booked for 2 nights but left after 1 night without breakfast and hot tub. Owner was very high rate even taking photos of us leaving. This is the first negative review I've left but my comments are fully justified AVOID
