10000/10. I couldn’t even begin to express how special this stay was. I could already tell by the photos. But being there was unreal. You would never know there is this hidden gem out in the middle of no where. The gravel drive up to the home is stunning on its own. The host could not have been more pleasant and welcoming. She had homemade bread ready for us when we arrived. The cottage was so comfy, with the perfect fire stove. Stepping onto the grounds I couldn’t imagine how beautiful it would have been. Every inch of the property and every turn you made there was another special part to this location. The work that has been put in and maintained by the lovely host is astounding. We actually used this location to have our elopement. I can’t be more grateful for stumbling across this place. Our pictures are just breathtaking because of it. There were even surprise guest Chop a handsome pup and Chicken a friendly cat. I recommend everyone to stay here when coming through Tassie.
The Old Wesley Dale Heritage estate is steeped in early colonial history; the house, outbuildings and guest cottage retain the authenticity of their original construction, updated with modern conveniences and amenities. The guest cottage is elegantly decorated, spacious and comfortably appointed. Breakfast is self catered in the cottage ' s kitchenette; a good variety of breakfast choices are provided. Be sure to leave adequate time during your stay to wander the extensive English-style garden that highlights the owners and hosts Scott and Deb Wilson's sense of garden style and dedication to their art. They were very warm and welcoming and eager to share this beautiful property with appreciative guests. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Mole Creek area.
A wonderful relaxing stay in the very comfortable and clean cottage. The wood fire set ready to light when we arrived, fresh flowers on the table and a card to welcome us. Wonderful, friendly hosts and of course, Chops the dog and his friend. Highly recommend this cottage for a quiet, weekend away, the cottage was just beautiful and perfect for our stay. The gardens are amazing, so relaxing to wander around.
