Oleandri Resort

To begin with, it’s a family hotel about 45 min by car from Salerno, set in Paestum close to the beach. It’s a quiet location with points of interest such as nearby Paestum archeological park accessible by car. The hotel it caters to families with small children, which is what we were searching for. It makes a positive impression by its aired layout with two level buildings spread around the pool area and its lush greenery. There are kids club and animators, evening kids disco etc. We stayed in the recently renovated apartments with a patio and a small garden which was great for kids playing safely in the shade when not in the water. The private beach is a short walk away, a wide stretch of fine sand and shallow water perfect for the little ones. The only downside is that you need to cross the road in order to follow the forest path to the beach and while there is a pedestrian crossing, the drivers are not always courteous as to stop. That said, we did see an employee of the hotel standing by the road to make safe passage. It’s a family business and the owners seem to be present at all times and they make sure to ask for feedback. We had only one suggestion regarding the main restaurant. The choice seems limited and bland, a bit on the pricey side relative to the portions and just not as interesting as expected for dinner. Not bad cooking per se and the staff seems willing to meet personal requests though. When it comes to staff in general, it looks like the company’s policy is to always be friendly and professional, which contributes to a very pleasant stay.

Wow where to start. Definitely with the Animatori that made our stay so absolutely wonderful and memorable 😍 to Dalila, Alessio, Sabino, Beni, Anto, Ruth, Vincenzo, Anna, Elenora, and Michele you all are so amazing. I genuinely wish you all the happiness in the world, thank you with all our heart for making this our best family vacation yet. Thanks to Rino for organizing such an amazing group of Animatori and fun for our kiddos. Another special shout out to Claudia who oversees the Nursery. The area there is amazing and our kiddo couldnt get enough of it! This was hands down the best vacation for us with young kids. Everyone in the resort is so friendly and helpful. The cleaning services offered every day just make vacation so much more relaxing. We will definitely be back in the future. We even extended our stay because of the miniclub! Really the best I have ever seen and cant imagine better staff for the job. Love to you all ❤️

The rooms were immaculate, the pool shimmered in the sunlight surrounded by lush greenery, and everything felt thoughtfully cared for. It’s the kind of place where even the smallest details seem intentional. We kept laughing that even the babies here were perfectly behaved—maybe the peace of the place rubs off on everyone! The beach was pristine and peaceful, a short walk away. It’s clear this isn’t just a resort—it’s a labor of love. You can feel that the owners pour their hearts into making it special, and it shows in every corner. Now, every time I see an oleander flower, I think of Oleandri and feel a tug of longing to return. This place has left a lasting imprint on our hearts.
