Oleo Cancun Playa All Inclusive Resort

Food at the restaurants was just okay. The buffet was the shining star here. Staff was warm, attentive and welcoming. Staff member who really stood out was Jose, the bartender in the lobby bar. He is a down to earth, funny and an intelligent guy. I asked for a certain drink that they usually don’t offer and he made sure he was able to recreate it. Jose, muchas gracias por las Thalias! Hasta la proxima vez amigo!

This was our first all inclusive experience in Mexico. The staffs went above and beyond with all the services we received. Ramses from the reception has been very helpful throughout our stay. Gerry, Ricardo and Alberto were awesome at the bar with lots of beautiful cocktails to offer. They were fast and offered pleasant conversations. Hats off to the guy who cleans the lounging area at the bench- he was quiet but was works really hard and made sure that the pool and lounge chairs were clean. Thank you to Ingrid at the buffet area for being accommodating and recommending other activities that we could explore. Ham was always a delight to talk to. The housekeeper was really good with her job and we were never worried of missing belongings. It was a home away from home.

HORRIBLE! Tiniest lobby that was ugly. RUDE WORKERS!!!!! I’ve been to Mexico several of times and never experienced rude servers or attitude from workers, but this place was ruthless. Every time our group asked to place an order of food at pool side, the waiter would roll his eyes and give attitude. Very old aesthetic, needs to be renovated. Location of hotel makes it for sun to be blocked by the building by like 4pm so no sun after that. Workers barely knew how to speak English at the restaurants. And the restaurants….food is the worst I’ve ever tried! The entertainment at the pool was probably the only good thing at this hotel. The rooms are sooo old, the AC was dripping water onto the floor. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!
