Very cozy, right in Cinque Terre in walking distance from the local restaurants and night activities. Very friendly and easy to contact when we had trouble making it to the hotel in time. *Remember to bring cash € for the tourist tax (required in all hotels by Italy). We missed our train and didn't have a chance to get cash for that, so withdraw cash early in case you run into some problems with traveling
This property has multiple rooms, but do NOT book the room that we had (pictured.) It is located about 20 meters away from the main room and it is the worst room we stayed in our Europe trip. The main issue is the room is cold, damp, and musty smelling from the mould. Yes it's built into a cave but its simply uncomfortable and the cold air flows from the gaps in the glass backing. I also killed 6 mosquitoes in the room. The owner needs to implement some insect repellent. It does have a great view and was also one of the more expensive rooms we booked but easily the worst value. Luckily we only stayed one night. Avoid this room at all costs!
Our room smelled strongly humidity, there was mold on the walls and it was very humid inside. we told the host and ask if they could come but they said the city was humid and they were painting the room walls every month (which shows the humidity level there…). The room has no window (only the front door), there was many spider webs, no light bulb on the bedside lights, and of course no breakfast/coffee machine in the morning. As for the terrace, the sun chairs are all broken. We strongly advise to avoid this hotel, we are very disappointed about our stay, especially for the price we paid (170€/m for 1 night, which was the most expensive hotel we had paid so far in the cinque terre, and by far the worst)
