Olinda Country Cottages

Kathy and Wally were wonderfully welcoming for our one-week stay. They have a vast and gorgeous property with a beautiful garden, thanks to Kathy's green thumb. Even though it was winter and we stayed mostly indoors, the cottage was always snug and toasty, and we could still enjoy the view from our veranda. We were also provided an array of breakfast food that we enjoyed cooking each morning, including eggs and bacon. I'd love to come back again someday :)

Cathy and Wally are very welcoming and approachable hosts making sure and stay was comfortable and peaceful. The setting is tranquil (especially the private balcony). The bathroom has a heated floor and the spa was fabulous. The breakfast supplies plentiful and varied and the kitchen was well equipped. Thanks for a lovely stay.

A Perfect Retreat in the Heart of Nature Our stay at Olinda Country Cottage was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning garden and the serene beauty of the property. The cottages were cozy and beautifully maintained, blending modern comfort with the charm of nature. Kathy and Wally, the hosts, went above and beyond to make us feel at home—so much so that it felt like a homecoming, despite our homes being in New Zealand and Korea. Their warmth and kindness made our experience even more special. The facilities were top-notch, with a luxurious spa bath that added an extra touch of indulgence. We loved the harmony between the modern amenities and the incredible natural surroundings, including magnificent 130-year-old trees. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge, and we are already looking forward to returning for our next family holiday. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful escape in Olinda!
