Absolutely loved our stay at O:live Boutique Hotel. The attention to detail in the design is stunning, every corner feels curated, romantic, and luxurious. The staff was warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home from check in to checkout. Armando and Tatiana made the experience exceptional. Highly recommend for couples or anyone looking for a stylish, intimate escape in San Juan. Can’t wait to come back!

I honestly wish I could give the service 10 stars because the team at O:live is really what makes the experience. I took my girlfriend who is in a wheelchair and they did everything in their power to accommodate us. From having a ramp ready whenever we were entering or leaving the hotel, to putting us in an AMAZING third floor room with a roll in shower for her and even an outdoor shower! I wanted to surprise her and the team over at O:live hooked us up (special thank you to Polly and Aranxe). They were able to set up an amazing arrangement of rose pedals and chocolate covered strawberries while we were out in Old San Juan. All without her knowing a thing While yes the amenities (roof) was under renovations, we had no problem going over to the sister property O:LV 55 to enjoy their roof and pool, I highly recommend going for brunch as you can walk in. Dinner you’ll need reservations, but they will accommodate you if there is an open table. If there’s a small piece of feedback, it would be on how accessibility friendly can be improved. Two specific things are that from the elevator there is a step up that you need to take in order to get to the hallway where the rooms are. Luckily there’s two of us so it’s easier to get her up, but solo travelers in chairs should be aware. Second, the shower chair they provide is sturdy (we had a bad experience in another hotel) but because the shower floor was a bit curved, it made the chair feel wobbly, if they can install either grab bars in the shower or have a chair that has back support, it can help with this. (Also she just reminded, the hand held shower spray, while amazing that it’s available, is also placed a bit too high for her reach while in the shower chair. I’m not taking away any stars for these things because the staff again made up for all of this and then some with their amazing service and we also made it work in our situation so we didn’t need to reach out about these issues.

The atmosphere and service of the hotel was great, especially the rooftop restaurant. The room was not good at all. It was very small and the only surface available to rest your items was the nightstand. You also have zero privacy as the restroom is fully open to the room. You have to keep the room uncomfortably cold or there will be condensation/water EVERYWHERE, yet they neglect to share that with you. We were glad it was a free night on Hilton rewards and that we were only staying one night, as it was not a comfortable space whatsoever. It’s a great example of calling something “European style” to get away with offering no privacy, being tiny and inconvenient.
