We stayed for one night in May during the TuscanyTrail, even allowed us to stow our bikes in the service room. Fair price for being within the walls of Pienza. Clean rooms and very friendly and helpful manager. We will be back
Very cozy hotel with great and helpful staff who are always nice to their residents. On the first day our flash wasn't working properly but it was fixed the next day. Also the parking is a bit of a problem when you are traveling by car but in proximity of the 500 meters from the hotel you should find something. Great views and location near the city center is worth parking a bit further away. I recommend that place :) (photo is taken very close to the hotel)
Our stay with Oliviera‘s was nice and friendly, though some things were not as expected: - the walls are very thin, not sound proof at all, e.g when someone watches the tv or talks loudly at night, one will wake up - the beds/our bed was comfortable but also noisy when one would move - the vibration and noise of the other rooms’ fans can be felt and heard throughout the rooms - hot water was inconsistent - too little shampoo, and not very sustainable in/with single use plastic bags and cups - they made up our room, which is nice of course, but if they want to be a hotel, they should offer other things instead, such as a fridge, cutlery or wine opener (present in other similar establishments)
