We went on a family vacation a few days ago (late August 2024) and we had the best time! The hotel is absolutely great. Where can I start? The enormous buffet with different and very good quality food every day? The view towards Aigaio Pelagos? Or how clean the rooms and how friendly the staff was? In conclusion, everything and everyone in the hotel contributed to us having a great time and one of the best vacations ever for us. The only thing I would suggest is adding a kid friendly activity (besides the pool), like movie nights. All the above represent my personal experience and humble opinion but I also think most of the occupants will agree with me.

Most definitely not a 4 star hotel. The rooms, while clean, weren't anything special. The cleaners did their job well, changing towels and bedding when needed/requested. The whole hotel has these strange frosted glass doors to the bathrooms, both in the rooms and just in the hotel, which don't have locks and have a quite large gap between the door and the wall, through which one could see who's inside a stall.. There were also issues with the AC (in the middle of the Greek summer - criminal) and with the wall-mounted bed in the room. The food was okay, sometimes dissapointing. Especially the meats, which at times were very questionable in terms of quality and even origin (chicken/turkey/god knows) Breakfast was quite monotonous, although decent. The drinks were not too good, the juice was just typical concentrated watered down, with a chemical taste to it. Staff were nice. The views from the seaside rooms are also quite beautiful. Overall though, for this kind of price, I implore you to search for a different hotel.

The food at Olympus Thea Hotel was okay, but the dessert options were very limited – always just one kind, and usually the same thing every day. If there was watermelon, they’d put out only a few pieces and never refill it. The pools were absolutely disgusting. Full of flies, leaves, and dirt. The bottom tiles were covered in black grime and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Completely neglected and unhygienic – definitely not something you'd want to swim in.There were no real activities for kids – just two swings and nothing else. The rooms were decent, but overall, for the price we paid, the experience was underwhelming. We would not return.
